Booking Policies

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel your trip, please notify us in writing at your earliest convenience. The cancellation charges will be calculated based on the total tour cost: 30 days or more prior to departure: 25% of the package cost. 15 to 30 days prior to departure: 50% of the package cost. Less than 15 days prior to departure or No Show: 100% of the package cost (No refund). Houseboat & Cruise Bookings: Advance deposits paid for houseboats (Dal Lake) and premium cruises (Halong Bay) are subject to specific operator rules and may be non-refundable if canceled within 30 days.

Refund policy

Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed and credited to the original payment method within 7 to 14 working days. Non-Refundable Components: Certain elements like flight tickets, train tickets, and specific third-party event/activity tickets (such as the Gulmarg Gondola or Ba Na Hills passes) are strictly non-refundable once purchased. Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseen circumstances like severe weather, political curfews, or natural disasters in destinations such as Kashmir or Vietnam, refunds will be provided as per the respective hotel and vendor credit policies, after deducting a nominal operational fee.

Payment policy

To secure your booking with Yatravi Holidays, the following payment schedule applies: Initial Deposit: A minimum of 30% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking to initiate reservations (hotels, transport, and special honeymoon arrangements). Second Installment: 50% of the package cost must be cleared at least 15 days prior to the date of departure. Final Balance: The remaining 20% balance must be paid at least 7 days prior to the travel start date. Custom/Peak Season Bookings: For peak season travel (such as December-January in Kashmir, or long weekends), a higher advance payment may be required depending on supplier policies.
