30 Days or more before departure: A standard operational handling fee of 15% of the total package value will be charged. 15 to 30 Days before departure: 40% of the complete tour cost will be deducted due to fixed hotel reservation guidelines in hill regions. 07 to 15 Days before departure: 70% of the total package value will be deducted since transport maps and permits are pre-allocated. Within 07 Days or No Show: 100% non-refundable cancellation fees apply. No rollover credits or travel waivers can be issued within this window.

Refund policy

Landslides & Highway Disruptions: Roads in Sikkim and Darjeeling (especially NH-10 along the Teesta River) are vulnerable to sudden monsoonal slides or rockfalls. If a path is blocked, alternative bypass routes will be used. No cash refunds can be issued for delayed arrivals or missed hours caused by natural Acts of God. Weather-Based Permit Rejections: If the Indian Army or local police department closes access to Tsomgo Lake due to heavy blizzards, black ice, or political lockdowns, Yatravi Holidays will swap the excursion for a Gangtok local or Namchi day tour.

Payment policy

Advance Token Booking: A mandatory 30% non-refundable advance deposit of the total package baseline value is required to process and hold the 3-star hotel room inventories in both Darjeeling and Gangtok. Permit Window Clearance: Sikkim border tourism permits require physical document verification by security agencies ahead of time. Therefore, the remaining 70% balance amount must be fully settled at least 10 days prior to your travel date. Booking vouchers and driver allocations will be locked and emailed only after 100% payments are confirmed.
