REFUND & FORCE MAJEURE GUIDELINES (DETAILED) Official Refund Timeline: Once a formal written cancellation request is evaluated, verified, and officially approved by our accounts team, any eligible balance refund amount will be credited directly back to the customer's original payment source (Bank Account/UPI) within 7 to 10 strict working days. Direct Vendor Exclusions: Any actual non-refundable out-of-pocket expenses already discharged to regional transport unions, private wildlife permit divisions, or strict seasonal eco-camps will be directly deducted first, and the remaining calculation will guide the final eligible refund amount. Extreme Weather & High-Altitude Force Majeure: Ladakh's terrain is highly vulnerable to sudden natural factors including heavy snowfall, sudden landslides, cloudbursts, road blockages by the military, or flash floods. In the event that a high pass (Khardung La/Chang La) is closed or a specific region becomes inaccessible during your active trip, Yatravi Holidays will actively alternate the itinerary to safer zones like Sham Valley. No direct cash refunds can be issued for unused hotel nights or unutilized vehicle routes under acts of God. Flight Cancellations & Altitude Sickness: Sudden flight cancellations by commercial airlines operating into Leh Airport, or sudden medical emergencies arising from acute mountain sickness (AMS) causing a tour drop-out, will not be covered under cash refunds. Yatravi Holidays will actively interface with local hoteliers to negotiate maximum possible credit notes or free date modifications; however, the absolute final discretion for waivers remains governed by the standalone policies of individual properties.
